Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

tenantable ("we", "us") is a compliance dashboard for UK landlords, available at tenantable.co.uk. This policy explains what personal data we hold when you use it, why, and what your rights are. Questions any time: hello@tenantable.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash, we never see it).
  • Property information you add: addresses, letting type and bedroom count, compliance due dates (gas, electrical, alarms and similar), and any certificates or licence documents you choose to upload.
  • Public register data: EPC details from the official Energy Performance of Buildings register and council licensing records from published council data, matched to the addresses you search or save.
  • Usage signals: if you click "Book now" or the upgrade button we record that click so we can build the features people actually want.

Why we use it

To run your dashboard, compute your traffic lights, send you renewal reminder emails for dates you are tracking, and respond when you contact us. That processing is necessary to provide the service you signed up for. We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party advertising.

Who processes it for us

Your data is held and processed by a small set of service providers acting on our instructions: Supabase (database, authentication and document storage), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (sending our emails), Cloudflare (domain and email routing) and Stripe (payments, which handles your card details itself; we never see your card number).

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. Remove a property and its data goes with it; delete your uploaded documents any time from the dashboard. To close your account entirely, email hello@tenantable.co.uk and we will delete your account and everything in it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to or restrict our use of it. Email hello@tenantable.co.uk and we will act on it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we have got something wrong.

Cookies

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores a session token locally so you stay signed in; that is all.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
